The Glen Morrison is a log carrier made for daily use in our harsh Atlantic Canadian winters. This heavy-duty log carrier is made from 2 layers of waxed canvas with thick water buffalo straps that are riveted and sewn all the way around. It features a pocket on one side and a strap on the other. This is a functional piece of gear that you'll be glad to have handy once winter sets in. We've put one to the test ourselves and we're happy to report it's ready for another winter of haulin' sticks.

Approx 18" wide x 34" long when laid out. Straps are long enough to loop into your shoulder.

How it's made

Whether we start with a hide of leather, or a roll of waxed canvas, each piece is cut by hand. We skive some parts of leather bags to reduce weight and bulk without sacrificing durability.

Using our industrial machines, the pieces and panels are sewn together. Seams are reinforced, handles and straps are attached with hand-set rivets where needed. A little brush up and it's ready for it's next adventure with you.

I purchased the log carrier for my husband for Christmas. I believe it is his most favourite gift, ever. It has decreased trips to the wood pile, it's made it much easier on his hands, the floor in front of our stove has far fewer "bits" left behind, and it stores conveniently. The quality of this product is well worth the price.

This carrier is as tough as nails, built to withstand lots of use and abuse. I primarily heat my home with wood and have worn out many log carriers in the past. This is the best one I have ever had and used, and by the looks of it may be the last I need. The beauty in this carrier is not only the heavy canvas and craftsmanship in the construction but the feature of the long leather carry straps. Thanks once again to Phee and Crew for bringing a very practical and traditional piece of equipment back to life.
